We are a US-based digital marketing agency in our 14th year in business, serving 30-40 clients, working as a small team. Clients are across North America in healthcare, skilled trades, professional services, and more. We deliver digital marketing services including SEO, PPC, social ads, social content, email newsletter, video production, and websites.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a team member for about 5-10 hours a week as a contract worker to start, with hours increasing as we go forward. The candidate selected for this role will code and maintain websites for our clients using Wordpress and Craft CMS. Remote, during 9AM-5PM Central USA (Chicago time).

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong experience working in Wordpress, including theme customization and direct coding.
• Open to learning Craft CMS and building proficiency to support both Wordpress and Craft projects.
• Able to design and code user-friendly, SEO-optimized web pages and interfaces.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to track, document, and report on daily progress.
• Detail oriented and committed to following development standards and processes.
• Self-starter who can take ownership of tasks and deliver on time and on quality.
• Capable of handling website maintenance tasks including plugin updates, page speed improvements, and content loading.
• Able to work remotely during 9AM–5PM Central USA (Chicago time) business hours.
• Must be comfortable using modern development tools and communicating ideas via wireframes, user flows, and site maps.
• Must be adaptable and willing to grow with the company’s evolving project needs.

• Use cutting-edge tools to design and build web pages and websites using Wordpress and Craft CMS.

• Track and report daily progress on development tasks and deliverables.
• Document development processes and follow established coding standards.
• Communicate clearly with internal team members about timelines, deliverables, and design ideas using user flows, wireframes, and sitemaps.
• Deliver website projects on time, on quality, and within budget.
• Stay up to date with trends and advancements in web design and development.
• Maintain accurate tracking of hosted client sites and website assets.
