ABOUT US

Cloverdale Robotics Learning offers fun, hands-on STEM programs for students aged 6–12, including robotics, electronics, coding, and digital arts. Our school programs introduce students to technology through creative, project-based learning.

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for an enthusiastic instructor to teach our Electronics & Coding classes for students in Grades 4–7. You’ll guide small groups through engaging projects that combine simple electronics with beginner-friendly coding. No advanced engineering background is required—training and lesson plans are provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience teaching or mentoring kids (in school, camps, or clubs).
  • Background or coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM fields is an asset.
  • Prefer to know Python or have experience with other beginner coding languages.
  • Interest in learning our tools (Micro:bit, Arduino, etc.).
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized.
  • Prefer to have a car for travel to class locations.
Responsibilities
  • Lead after-school or weekend classes using our prepared curriculum.
  • Manage classrooms in various school locations.
  • Teach safe, age-appropriate electronics concepts and beginner coding skills using our project-based methodology and kits.
  • Lead related craft-style activities, coding, and robotics programs.
  • Safely transport required class materials to and from locations (own transportation preferred).
  • Support and encourage students as they work through projects.
  • Create a welcoming and positive learning environment.
  • Set up and pack away materials before and after class.
