Hi-Yah! Code Ninjas is the rapidly expanding kids’ coding franchise where learning meets fun! In our centers, kids ages 7-14 dive into coding through exciting video games they love – all in a relaxed, engaging environment. They have so much fun, they’re eager to return and keep building their skills!

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for an energetic Coding Instructor (In-Person) to join our team of passionate, forward-thinking individuals, all united by one exciting mission: TEACHING KIDS TO CODE THROUGH VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT. To succeed, you’ll need a growth mindset, a willingness to learn, and a team-oriented attitude. And most importantly – you’ve got to be FUN! A great sense of humor is key to making this a great place to work!

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

  • Extensive experience working with children ages 7 and up (e.g., camps, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, etc.) – A love for working with kids is a must!
  • Current or recent students in fields related to Computer Science, Engineering, Game Development/Programming/Design, E-sports, Robotics, or similar are preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Unity game engine and C# is preferred. Familiarity with other coding languages (e.g., Scratch, JavaScript, Python, Microsoft Make Code, Lua, Roblox) is a plus!

Responsibilities
  • Guide and support children with their coding activities, answering questions and helping them overcome challenges.
  • Follow up on leads, schedule centre tours, and help families register.
  • Organize and manage digital and event based marketing initiatives.
  • Developing and managing In House Coding and STEM Curriculum.
  • Assess children’s skill levels and track their progress to ensure continuous growth.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment where kids feel encouraged to learn and thrive.
  • Provide feedback to parents on their child’s progress and development.
  • Follow daily opening and closing procedures for the center.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety by cleaning and disinfecting the facility and equipment throughout the day to meet corporate standards.
  • Report daily activities and classroom productivity to the Lead Instructor, Centre Director, or Owner.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week
