Best Brains of Brampton Gore, a learning center, is currently hiring enthusiastic, part-time instructor to teach Coding to students ranging from 8-14 years old.
Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Coding Instructor to join our team and help shape the next generation of young software developers and/or web developers. Ideal candidates should have a strong foundation in Python, Web Development, and Scratch, along with a passion for teaching and helping kids succeed. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, patience in handling kids , and great communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts in a clear and approachable manner.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong proficiency in Python, Web Development, and Scratch.
• Prior experience in coding or software development.
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience, with the ability to explain technical concepts to students with varying levels of experience.
• Prior experience in teaching in a similar environment will be preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback effectively.

• Conducting hourly sessions
• Hands-on coding exercises
• Providing individualized support, and assessing student progress.
