Title:  COE SAP Demand Planning Specialist

Position Summary

The COE SAP Demand Planning Specialist will focus on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Global Sales and Operations Planning functions. This role is essential for driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring best practices are implemented, and maintaining high standards of process and systems management across the organization.

 Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Identify, analyze, and enhance demand planning processes across business units and regions.
• Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Best Practices Implementation: Assist in ensuring that best practices are consistently applied across all planning processes.
• Training and Development: Help develop and deliver training programs to enhance process knowledge and skills within the team.
• Performance Monitoring: Assist in establishing Sales & Operation Planning metrics and KPIs to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and improvements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address process-related needs and challenges.
• Project Management: Lead and participate in process improvement projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Change Management: Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth implementation of process and system improvements.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) are a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience SAP Sales and Operations Planning with at least 3-5 years with SAP Demand Planning 
• Experience in Configuration and optimization of SAP IBP modules/functions: Demand Planning, Demand Sensing, Statistical Forecasting, Product Lifecycle
• Strong understanding of SAP Supply Chain processes and workstream, particularly in areas of like SAP Planning, Production, and Inventory
• Ability to analyze and solve technical issues and interact with cross-functional team
• Proven track record of implementing process optimization initiatives.
• Experience with performance monitoring and KPI establishment.
• Experience in leading and managing projects
• Experience working with SAP enterprise solutions, including: SAP S4 HANA and SAP IBP – Supply Planning, SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)
• Strong understanding of SAP Supply Chain processes and workstream, particularly in areas of like SAP Planning, Production, and Inventory
• Ability to analyze and solve technical issues and interact with cross-functional team
• Knowledge of industry best practices for process management and improvement.
• Experience with data analysis and other productivity tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Minitab, JIRA, Smartsheet, Win Shuttle).
