PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION ASSISTANT

Aroma Maya Coffee Roasters is looking for a Roastery Helper / Production and Distribution Assistant to join our team. The Production Assistant reports to the Roastmaster to ensure the quality of our products is exceptional. This position works out of the Aroma Maya Roastery in North River, on a day shift (typically 8-4), 2 to 3 days per week (Mon-Fri).

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work with strict production deadlines and manage competing priorities
Ability to work independently and with others
Ability to follow safe workplace procedures and cleanliness standards
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
To have reliable transportation
Certifications: Food Handlers
Experience considered an asset in the following: Management, Manufacturing/food production
Education (considered an asset): Business Administration and/or Management
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

• Managing all aspects of the coffee production facility including coffee roasting and packaging; Elevate syrup production; receiving and fulfilling wholesale and retail coffee orders; preparing and receiving shipments; tracking and ordering inventory; servicing wholesale customer accounts by answering phone and email inquiries; assisting with deliveries; overseeing maintenance and cleaning schedules of equipment and facility; working closely with management staff from our retail stores and fundraising program; providing supervision and training to other staff as needed.
