About us
Join Chester’s original specialty coffee pioneers and learn the craft of coffee roasting from experienced professionals. Since 2015, we’ve been creating high quality, consciously-considered coffee experiences for our community, and we’re looking for someone passionate about coffee to join our roastery team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the art and science of coffee roasting. You’ll work closely with our experienced team while developing the skills to work independently as you grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn coffee roasting techniques and develop your palate
• Assist with roasting operations and quality control
• Pack and dispatch wholesale and retail coffee orders
• Manage order processing and maintain accurate records
• Work independently on roasting tasks as skills develop
• Maintain roastery equipment and workspace standards
• Support our wholesale and retail coffee operations
• Contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional coffee experiences

What We’re Looking For

• Genuine passion for coffee and eagerness to learn roasting
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic computer skills for order management and record keeping
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling
• Willingness to develop technical skills in coffee roasting
• Enthusiasm for being part of Chester’s specialty coffee story

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
