We’re looking for a Coffee Roasting Assistant who’s eager to learn, reliable, and excited to grow with us. No prior roasting experience? No problem—we’ll train the right person who’s ready to work hard, ask questions, and be part of a supportive, team-driven environment. What You'll Do: Learn how to receive, inspect, and handle raw green coffee beans Assist in roasting, adjusting profiles and monitoring quality Support blending and flavoring of our all signature blends Prepare roasted coffee for grinding, packaging, and shipping Help with equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures Work with the production team to meet daily roasting schedules Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times Pitch in with other warehouse and facility duties as needed Job Details: Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00-$16.00/hr, depending on experience Schedule: 8-10-hour shifts Monday-Friday (Saturdays when needed) Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO) 6 Paid Holidays Employee Discount on All Products Dental & Vision Insurance 401(K) Plan Opportunities for growth and training in the coffee industry Requirements A true coffee lover with a desire to learn and grow in the roasting craft Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent attendance record. Basic math skills (you’ll be measuring, weighing, and blending) Comfortable with physical work: lifting (up to 50 lbs solo / 150 lbs with help), standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and using warehouse tools (Pallet Jack, hand truck and other warehouse equipment) Team-oriented and flexible—willing to jump in wherever needed Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision NOTE: Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test, as applicable for the role. Training will be provided to the appropriate individual. Flexibility to perform other duties as needed based on company needs.

Responsibilities

The Coffee Roasting Assistant will learn to receive, inspect, and handle raw green coffee beans, assist in roasting, and support blending and flavoring of signature blends. They will also prepare roasted coffee for grinding, packaging, and shipping, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
