Overview:
We are seeking a Cafe Assistant to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a cafe assistnat, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages in a friendly and efficient manner. Preparing a variety of Food to our standard and taking order.
It is important to us that you have excellent customer services skills and can work in an efficient manner.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold drinks, including coffee, tea, and speciality beverages
-Prepare and serve a range of food such as; panini, toasties and toast toppers.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the preparation areas
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till system accurately
- Assist in food preparation tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Barista or in a similar role is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Basic maths skills to process payments accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the quality of beverages served
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide help where needed

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
