Marvellous Greens and Beans is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team with passion and dedication. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to fresh, wholesome foods and coffee, exceptional leadership skills, and extensive experience in food service management. This is not a desk job; as the General Manager, you will have total oversight of day-to-day operations, ensuring a hands-on approach to maintaining high standards in customer service, food quality, and operational efficiency.

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a deli, restaurant, or food service environment.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience in inventory management, budgeting, and financial oversight.

• Excellent customer service skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to train, mentor, and inspire a team to achieve operational and service excellence.

• Oversee all aspects of deli operations, including staff management, customer service, and food preparation, to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and food safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized deli area.
• Manage inventory, oversee supply ordering, and optimize stock levels to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
• Drive shop presentation and product quality, ensuring all offerings meet Marvellous Greens and Beans’ high standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and sales targets, to support business growth.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to delegate tasks effectively while remaining actively involved in daily operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and community partners to support sustainability and local sourcing initiatives.
