1. OPERATIONAL OVERSIGHT

  • Supervise day-to-day bakery operations, including opening/closing procedures.
  • Ensure all products meet quality and freshness standards.
  • Oversee inventory management: ordering, tracking, and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety and health regulations.
  • Ensure employees are in full uniform (apron and hair tied back) at all times to maintain professionalism and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure we are upholding Department of Health standards and are always well prepared to handle an inspection at any time.
  • Ensure quality standards are met by checking for taste, FIFO rotation, and visual appeal.
  • Ensure stores are kept immaculately clean, organized, and well merchandised at all times.

3. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

  • Ensure all customers receive prompt, courteous, and helpful service.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Support special orders, catering, or seasonal promotions.

BASED ON EXPERIENCE & SKILLS DEMONSTRATED DURING THE FIRST 4-6 WEEKS.

  • After training: $850- $1000 per week base pay (paid weekly).
  • Plus shift tips. Average is ($120-$200+) week
  • Potential to earn Sales Commission. ($100-$500 additional weekly income.)

CAFE MANAGER ROLE & OBLIGATIONS

The Bakery Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, high product quality, excellent customer service, and staff efficiency. The following outlines the main responsibilities, expectations, and compensation for the position.

4. FINANCIAL & SALES RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor daily sales, expenses, and profitability.
  • Reduce costs by minimizing waste and controlling labor hours.
  • Assist with setting sales targets and meeting revenue goals.
  • Track and report key performance metrics to ownership.
  • Create and oversee the bakery’s online presence, including updating menu items, promotions, and photos on DoorDash, UberEats, Grubhub, and Google Business.
  • Regularly monitor DoorDash sales analytics to identify best-selling products and opportunities for improvement.
  • Help expand and manage the bakery’s social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), including posting content, engaging with customers, and promoting specials or events. Minimize guest complaints and work alongside the owner to respond to all Yelp/Google/App/Email comments and go above and beyond for both positive and negative reviews.
