Description Crystal Creamery is currently looking for a Cold Box Supervisor Crystal Creamery is currently hiring a Cold Box Supervisor for the night shift. This role will be responsible for supervising the completion of department functions to reach the high standards of safety, quality, and production efficiency goals. The A Side Cold Box Supervisor accomplishes this through advanced leadership of employees and the creation of a work environment committed to respect, safety, and productivity. Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide leadership and supervision for approximately 45 employees on the shift. Insure a safe work environment through identification and correction of workplace hazards and employee safety training. Prioritize and organize workflow processes to optimize efficiency. Must be able to perform accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders through active communications with Transportation, Scheduling and Order Entry personnel. Quality is never compromised by demanding strict adherence to HACCP, SOP and GMP guidelines. Control costs with management of package materials waste, operating and personnel supplies. Review required work process documentation insuring their accurate and timely completion. Provide a positive and professional style inspiring work groups maximum team effort. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a dairy products processing plant. Must have a working knowledge of HACCP, SOP’s and GMP’s for food processing. Must be an assertive self-starter, task oriented, attentive to details and capable of functioning at a fast pace with a high sense of urgency when needed. Must have a working knowledge of the use of Microsoft Excel and Word software. Must possess good math skills and the ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
