Job Title: Cold Caller Location: Remote | LATAM Schedule: Mountain Standard Time (Dayshift) (Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm MST) Rate: $700 USD per month + commission Earn up to $3,700/month—just 20 to 60 verified appointments can get you between $1,700 and $3,700, based on performance! Lago is on a mission to build a world-class outbound sales engine and we’re looking for driven, sharp, and ambitious Cold Callers (Sales Development Representatives) to help us get there. This isn’t your average cold calling job. You’ll be prospecting with purpose, sparking real conversations, uncovering digital marketing needs, and booking qualified appointments that our Account Executives can close. Forget robotic scripts. We’re looking for strategic communicators who think on their feet, understand the digital landscape, and know how to turn curiosity into conversions. Key Responsibilities Execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns via phone and email Follow a structured outreach process (Apollo sequences, call scripts, and qualification questions) Pre-qualify prospects by identifying their needs, budget, decision-making authority, and project timelines Book verified, high-quality appointments for the sales team Maintain accurate records of all activities and conversations in CRM tools Consistently hit (and ideally exceed) performance targets: Provide feedback on prospect responses to improve messaging and outreach strategy High volume cold outreach (100-200+ calls per day) Follow up with prospect call backs, follow up with reminder calls to your prospect 1 hour prior to the Discovery Call. Communicate with your AE leading up to the appointment giving updates on the status of the meeting Rescheduling is common. Expect to reschedule appointments Proven track record in cold calling / SDR roles Excellent spoken and written English; able to engage confidently with U.S. business owners and executives Strong understanding of outbound prospecting, objection handling, and relationship building Coachable and disciplined: able to follow playbooks, scripts, and training guidelines Results-driven mindset with consistency in performance and accountability Tech-savvy: comfortable with Apollo, CRM systems, and communication tools Prior experience setting qualified appointments that resulted in closed deals is a strong plus Preferred Qualifications Experience working in or selling performance digital marketing services Background in Google services or experience working with SEO, PPC, or Meta ads, website design Prior use of tools like Apollo, HubSpot, Google Sheets, Slack or similar sales softwares Compensation & Performance Structure Performance-Based Commission on top of base pay ($50 commission per verified appointment). Top performers should be able to set a minimum 1-2 high quality appointments 3-Week Probationary Period with clear performance benchmarks: The first 15 business days are probationary. The team will assess your performance and how you are implementing training Ongoing evaluation using scorecards and call metrics via Apollo dashboard Base pay negotiable based on experience.
