PROJECT AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

As a consultant in this role, you’ll have full autonomy over your work, partnering directly with high-growth clients from a range of industries. Each campaign offers space to experiment, test new approaches, and directly observe the results of your strategies.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

You are:

  • Fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Able to craft persuasive, clear, and engaging outreach messaging for a variety of audiences.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience executing cold outreach and outbound lead generation campaigns (email, LinkedIn, or other channels) in a B2B environment. Agency experience is an asset.
  • Deep understanding of cold email best practices, including deliverability, inbox/domain setup, warm-up protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient with outbound and automation tools such as Instantly AI, We-Connect, Lemlist, and similar platforms. Skilled in lead list building, segmentation, and contact verification.
  • Comfortable with analytics and reporting, using platforms like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Zapier, and related tools to track and optimize campaign performance.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills. Able to balance multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with high accountability.
  • Collaborative by nature, able to work closely with designers and other marketing specialists to execute cohesive campaigns and deliverables.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn: open to new ideas, tools, and approaches, and willing to provide feedback to help shape internal processes and AI tools.
  • Confident in client-facing roles: skilled at leading discovery calls, presenting strategy and results, and acting as a consultative partner for assigned clients.
  • Experience building landing pages, setting up booking calendars, or managing sales enablement assets is a plus.
  • Tech-savvy, with a strong interest in leveraging AI and automation to drive performance and efficiency.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and naturally proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Driven by results, motivated to hit KPIs and deliver measurable ROI for clients.
  • Degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.

*This consulting engagement is remote, but consultants are required to attend in-person meetings in Ottawa on a quarterly or monthly basis (as needed) to participate in specific company events and team collaborations.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Plan, write, and execute cold outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and similar platforms, taking ownership from strategy through to execution and reporting.
  • Research and identify target audiences and decision-makers, continually refining lead lists based on client ICPs.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and collaborate with clients to understand important aspects of their business, such as their mission, audience, and market landscape, ensuring campaigns align with their goals and messaging.
  • Build and segment lead lists, verify contact data, and set up campaigns using tools like Instantly and We-Connect, following best practices for deliverability and compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance, using A/B testing, analytics (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Zapier), and regular reporting to improve results and provide actionable insights.
  • Create and manage follow-up sequences, email blasts, and drip campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversion through the sales funnel.
  • Work with other team members to manage design assets, landing pages, booking calendars, and sales enablement materials that support outreach.
  • Communicate directly with leads to qualify interest and transition opportunities to the right team members; maintain regular client communication as their main point of contact.
  • Stay up to date with cold outreach trends, tools, and best practices; contribute to process improvements and support the team by documenting and enhancing SOPs.
  • Present deliverables to clients and guide the clients’ marketing efforts with strategic cold outreach recommendations aligned to their goals.
  • Manage a book of clients, serving as their primary point of contact and dedicated cold outreach specialist, with regular communication maintained through emails and meetings.
  • Use and help improve our custom-built AI tools through feedback and collaboration with the internal team.
