What you’ll own Highly skilled and certified CCIE Collaboration Engineer. This role is critical in supporting and optimizing enterprise-grade unified communication platforms, including Cisco Webex, Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM, CUC, CUPS), Microsoft Teams, and other auxiliary collaboration systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strategic insight, and a proactive approach to ensuring seamless communication experiences across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Architect, implement, and manage Cisco Unified Communications systems, including CUCM, Unity, Expressway, and Jabber. Administer and support Webex cloud and hybrid deployments, ensuring integration with existing UC infrastructure. Lead the configuration and optimization of Microsoft Teams, including Direct Routing, SBC integration, and Teams Rooms. Ensure seamless interoperability between Cisco UC and Microsoft Teams environments. Monitor and troubleshoot real-time communications systems (voice, video, messaging), minimizing downtime and ensuring service quality. Collaborate with IT Security, Network, and Application teams to maintain secure and compliant UC environments. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents involving collaboration tools and participate in on-call escalation as needed. Document system architecture, configurations, and procedures; contribute to change management and best practices documentation. Support auxiliary UC systems such as call recording, voicemail, telepresence, and conference room technology. What we’re looking for Required Qualifications: Active CCIE Collaboration certification. Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Unified Communications and IT infrastructure. Advanced knowledge of: Cisco UC Suite (CUCM, Unity, IM&P, Expressway, Webex) Microsoft Teams administration and hybrid voice deployments Session Border Controllers (Cisco CUBE, AudioCodes, Ribbon) SIP, RTP, SRTP, QoS, and network protocols related to real-time media. Experience integrating collaboration tools with enterprise directory services Strong troubleshooting skills and a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in hybrid or full cloud collaboration migrations (on-prem to Webex or Teams). Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and enterprise monitoring systems. Scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for UC management. Certifications in Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer, ITIL Foundation, or project management (PMP/Agile) are a plus.
