Description Summary SPECTRUM Commercial Finance, an asset based lending and accounts receivable financing company, is seeking a Collateral Analyst for our Asset Based Lending division. SPECTRUM is headquartered in Bloomington, MN and specializes in providing financing to financially challenged business nationwide. Responsibilities Assisting in the maintenance, monitoring, and management of the asset based lending portfolio, this includes: Processing and monitoring client’s daily collateral and loan activities Reviewing and processing client’s monthly resets Handling client’s daily loan advance requests Analyzing client reports Tracking, monitoring and enforcing client reporting Troubleshooting and resolving client issues with management as needed Assisting in new client searches and onboarding (including training and follow-up on certain documentation) Assisting in additional administrative tasks associated with this position, this includes: Handling daily banking activity Processing lockbox from time to time Managing UCC filing and upkeep along with other client searches Assist in client document and certificate follow-up tracking (Tickler List management) Assisting in continual development of monitoring procedures and company operations Handling special projects as assigned by management. Assisting in various administrative duties. Requirements Skills/Experience/Education Two year Accounting, Finance, or other Business degree or equivalent experience required Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary Must be detail-oriented and organized with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook are required Must be a self starter, possess strong decision-making skills, and take ownership of various processes. Essential Mental & Physical Requirements Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions. Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines. Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required. Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
