Description SUMMARY The Servion Group is a credit union service organization which means we serve our lending partners as if we are an extension of their company. The primary responsibility of a Collateral Solutions Analyst is to complete expository reports for our clients. These reports summarize the findings and observations made during the analysis of the appraisal report, environmental assessment along with the development of an Evaluation nationwide. The overall function of Collateral Solutions Analyst is to assist our lending partners in making sound credit decisions. A person that is a problem solver, organized, detail oriented and enjoys research will excel in this position. A high degree of independent judgment will be required to properly assess each assignment and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Servion Collateral Solutions currently offers the following three main product types: Valuation Review Complete an analysis on commercial appraisals by stress-testing the data provided. Determining the accuracy of the valuation methods employed. Confirm compliance with regulatory guidelines and company polices. Environmental Review Review ASTM-compliant environmental assessments to identify potential concerns and provide recommendations to our clients. Evaluation Research and gather data on the subject property to provide a summary of salient characteristics including location, description, current use, physical condition, zoning designation, previous sales, etc. Complete extensive online research for comparable sales and property income data. OTHER ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES – All Levels Actively participate in individual 1:1s, weekly team meetings and quarterly performance meetings; meet or exceed all performance metrics. Must work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks. Must be available (especially during regular business hours) to communicate with employees, customers, managers and any other person or organization with whom interaction is required to accomplish work and company goals. Must maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, customers, vendors and/or any other representatives of external organizations. Must be capable of adapting, with minimal or no notice, to changes in how business is conducted, and work is accomplished, with no diminishment in work performance. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Required: Ability to complete detailed online research of properties. Knowledge of financial analysis in an Excel spreadsheet environment. Strong expository report writing skills. Strong verbal communication skills. Problem solver, organized, detail oriented, accurate, enjoys research. Ability to meet daily minimum production standards as determine by client need and internal scheduling. Preferred: Understanding of commercial valuation principles and methods. Comprehensive working knowledge of regulations affecting the appraisal industry to include FIRREA, Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and Interagency Guidelines. Problem solver, organized, detail oriented, accurate, enjoys research. COMPENSATION: $21.89 – $27.11 per hour. Servion has provided a salary range that represents its good faith estimate of what the company may pay for the position at the time of posting. The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information. Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Finance, or related fields. However, a combination of education and experience may be substituted.
