JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

TITLE: Colleague Relations Assistant Manager
LOCATIONS: Edinburgh, Leeds or Bristol
WORKING PATTERN: We work in a hybrid style, spending at least two days per week (or 40% of time) in one of our office locations.
At LBG, our purpose is Helping Britain Prosper. In People & Places, we’re driving innovation to elevate colleague experience and boost productivity as we support one of the largest transformations in financial services. We’re looking for a curious, proactive, and delivery-focused individual to join our Colleague Relations Team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is a great opportunity to play a key part in supporting our small, high-profile team. We deliver complex people change programmes, negotiating and consulting on behalf of LBG with People Forums and two recognised unions. We move at pace, providing support for the Group to drive strong colleague outcomes.
If you’re someone who wants to learn, be involved in strategy, loves to challenge the status quo and brings energy and passion for doing things differently, this could be a great fit. You’ll play a key role in helping us deliver high-quality outcomes by providing coordination, insight, and operational support.
There will be some travel to P&P strategic hubs on occasion for team events and some meetings, which can be planned in advance. We are open to discussion on other agile and flexible working patterns.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support the delivery of Groupwide and Business Area industrial relations and complex people change programmes, helping drive people transformation.
  • Supporting the Colleague Relations engine to run – planning and coordinating to execute team priorities.
  • Drive engagement through helping coordinate meetings, crafting materials for interactions with leaders, Forums, unions, and other stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyse data that shapes smart decisions, improving outcomes for people-related changes.
  • Drive the use of innovative technologies and AI in the Colleague Relations team to improve processes and boost efficiency.
  • Horizon scanning of relevant employment and industrial relations developments, sharing insights with the team.
  • Contribute to risk and governance processes by maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance with policies.
