PrideStaff a staffing firm specialized in recruiting for Central Oregon is actively seeking a Collections Specialist for a Local Company in the Bend area. The ideal Collections Specialist will be highly organized and detail oriented. They will be responsible for organizing high volumes of paperwork and data entry. This position will start at $21/hr and is a full time role during business hours, Monday – Friday.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Sort and organize store write-off account ledgers
• Attach corresponding credit applications
• Contact store personnel to obtain copies of missing documents for written-off accounts
• Pull and attach unpaid invoice copies
• Prepare and organize final collection agency account packets for assignment
• Run DMV searches and TLO skip trace searches as requested
• Review write-off accounts and order/send collection letters if needed
• Post payments received from 3rd party collection agencies and debt consolidation companies to customer accounts timely and accurately
• Enter collection agency account acknowledgments
  Required Technical Skills/Knowledge: Moderate knowledge of Excel, and Google Sheets. Data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  General Knowledge and Abilities: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to communicate information clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing. Work effectively independently and as a member of a team
  Physical Requirements: Primarily desk position; regularly required to sit, occasionally required to stand and walk. Requires frequent and repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate computer, mouse, keyboard, and office related equipment and the ability to reach with hands and arms. Position requires lifting no more than 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus. Requires the ability to communicate verbally and exchange information over the phone and in person.
