Responsibilities

Wells Fargo is seeking a Collections Administrator to join our team in Dusseldorf.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor and support collections activities for delinquent accounts
  • Acting on sales data received from various sources across the EMEA portfolio to support prompt collections.
  • Monitor collateral exceptions and follow procedures to ensure that appropriate activity is taken to action and where necessary to escalate to the leadership team
  • Work closely with the Portfolio team to maintain collateral codes in line with procedures and where necessary provide cover and support across the EMEA region
  • Help to drive efficiencies, implement system & process improvements/simplification
  • Provide accurate and timely collateral management reporting and identify areas of concern to prompt action to address
  • When required supporting inspections team to ensure audit results are promptly and accurately reflected in system of record
  • Identify and collaborate with Independent Risk Management (IRM) to identify and close audit guide gaps and address quality issues and when required implement process improvements
  • Support internal and external audits of the Portfolio Control Management functions
  • Support the oversight of collections in other countries
  • Obtain and retain approvals and other records in line with records management requirements
  • Follow the Wells Fargo complaints management process to ensure customers are treated fairly

Job Expectations:

  • Ensure Distribution Finance systems accurately reflect status of delinquencies and funded collateral
  • Track and follow up on uninspected inventory in transit to ensure that follow up actions are in place
  • Ensure red flags identified by additional collateral checks are appropriately documented and escalated
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Participate in assigned projects
  • An organized approach and ability to prioritize workload
  • Work as part of a team across multiple business functions and countries
