Description:

POSITION: COLLECTIONS MANAGER

Park West Professional Services operates as a specialized Servicing Center for lending companies offering personal loans and lines of credit through online and phone-based services to customers across the U.S. We are seeking an experienced Collections Supervisor or Manager to lead our domestic call center collection department, with a focus on team building, streamlining processes and achieving outstanding results.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience as a Manager or Supervisor of a collections team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of collections KPIs and their interdependencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of collections practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of standard collections regulations and compliance requirements, or a willingness to learn and develop expertise in this area.
  • Experience developing, interpreting, and integrating reports to enhance departmental performance.
  • Ability to create, explain and incorporate reports to better the department.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • A post-secondary diploma in any discipline is required, though a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Build, Lead and Motivate: Onboard, train, inspire and manage a team dedicated to delivering exceptional collections results.
  • Strategic Development: Create and implement strategies to ensure timely payments, and maintain professionalism throughout the collections process.
  • Performance Management: Monitor team performance, providing consistent feedback, coaching, and training to maintain high standards in customer service and collections efficiency.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience that aligns with company values from initial engagement through the collections journey.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address escalated customer and collections issues with a balanced and solution-oriented approach, preserving customer relationships while safeguarding company interests.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze department metrics and collections outcomes to identify trends, drive improvements, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all collections and customer service activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
