Description:
The Trans Lease Collections Manager is a strategic and tactical leader responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of receivables management across commercial transportation finance portfolios. This role combines hands-on recovery efforts with executive-level oversight, ensuring optimized portfolio performance, regulatory compliance, and a datainformed approach to collections, legal actions, and agency partnerships. The successful candidate will drive KPIs, lead a high-performing team, and ensure alignment between Lease Representatives, Stakeholders, collections efforts and broader risk and revenue strategies

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field. Appropriate experience in lieu of degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in collections, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Technology, Tools & Reporting
  • Manage and enhance system utilization in Lease Complete, Power BI, Salesforce, and dialer platforms to drive daily decision-making and long-term insight.
  • Lead automation efforts including outbound campaign workflows, payment reminders, and predictive collections scoring.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards capturing collector-level performance, call quality, recovery velocity, and promise-to-pay conversion rates.
  • Partner with IT, Operations, and BI teams to ensure data integrity and reporting alignment across platforms.
  • Proficiency in collections software (e.g., Lease Complete), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong knowledge of FDCPA, UCC, bankruptcy processes, and relevant state laws.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Exercises superb judgment and initiative and possesses strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, excels in a fast-paced environment, and operates with a sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize workflows.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively both independently and with others as part of a team.
