ABOUT THE POSITION:

Reinstatement Specialist – Irvine, CA (In-Office Position)
CPS is looking for a full-time Reinstatement Specialist in our Asset Recovery Department.
A Reinstatement Specialist is responsible for facilitating the post vehicle repossession process and negotiating vehicle reinstatements. They must be logical thinkers that listen and negotiate well, follow regulations, and convey information clearly and in a detailed manner.

• Actively negotiate vehicle reinstatements, full balance redemptions, and settlements post repossession from incoming and outgoing calls for eligible accounts.
• Process condition reports received from agents after vehicle has been repossessed.
• Order Notice of Intent to Sell letter (NOIT) based on specific state guidelines.
• Handle releases related to reinstatements, redemptions or bankruptcy. Assist customers who want to redeem their repossessed vehicle.
• Assist the Repossession Department with processing invoices
• Maintain a professional and customer-friendly manner with each account and contact. Display a willingness to take direction, work cooperatively with management and co-workers, and project a positive demeanor. Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
