JOB SUMMARY

The mission of the Collections Security Officer is to execute video gaming collections. This position requires carrying a firearm. Successful candidates must be 21 years or older, have a valid driver’s license with a good record, have a valid FOID card, and pass Illinois Gaming Board and Illinois Department of Professional Regulations requirements which includes fingerprinting. The position requires an individual with a strong moral character and calm demeanor to operate in a fast-paced environment, performing tasks at customer establishments while maintaining constant awareness of surroundings ensuring a secure environment.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must be able to pass and maintain necessary licensing for Gaming and Armed Security.

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

  • Must possess a valid FOID card.

  • Intermediate computer skills.

  • Ability to read, write and use basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, managers, and across functions.

  • Prior experience in private security, military, or law enforcement preferred.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to pass Illinois Gaming Board and Illinois Department of Professional Regulations requirements which includes fingerprinting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Maintain strong Customer Service Orientation.

  • Secure, handle, and transport currency with professionalism and precision.

  • Safe transport and accounting of issued funds assigned daily to resolve issues related to gaming.

  • Accurate and detailed record keeping of fund transactions.

  • Generation and collection of machine activity reports.

  • Maintain constant awareness of surroundings and communication.

  • Follow all department, company, and state policies and procedures.

  • Assist in other responsibilities as assigned.
