Despite our growth, we have stayed true to our family-owned and operated roots—where employees are recognized as individuals and our culture remains a top priority.   Responsibilities * Responsible for the maintenance of customer accounts through collection activity and account research. * Responsible for Tier 2 inbound calls into the Credit & Collections department through multiple channels including voice, text, social media, and Customer or Sales Rep portals. * Follows up with Customers and Sales Representatives within 24 hours of phone or email request. * Works accounts receivable aging reports, collection reports, and sales representative reports as assigned by Credit & Collections Management. * Meet department metric standards on a monthly basis. * Provides superior customer service by maintaining focus on the 2-customer philosophy. * Maintain thorough and accurate documentation on customer account interactions. * Performs other duties as assigned by Credit & Collections Management.  Qualifications * 3+ years' experience in Collections, Accounts receivable, or a similar role * B2B collections experience preferred * The ability to resolve complex payment issues * Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, AX, Excel, etc.) * The ability to communicate in a professional manner with management, sales representatives, customers, and co-workers in both written and verbal form * The ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations * The ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions * Proficient in skip tracing and establishing alternative contacts * The ability to handle confidential information and use discretion while performing job tasks * The successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period   Additional Information   **This is a Monday-Friday role. The shifts are 8 hours with the schedule between the hours of 8:00.am-6:00pm.
