Description

Position Summary: Primary responsibility is the management of the assigned EC portfolio. You are responsible for controlling losses, achieving delinquency goals, and growing the portfolio of accounts.

Responsibilities

Manage the receivable /Control losses (approximately 70% of role)

  • Work directly with Franchisees and SOT Field Management to control delinquency and gross losses to corporate objectives to include customer-direct calling.
  • Resolve customer delinquency problems to retain customers and achieve permanent corrective action.
  • Report and track gross losses/delinquency to SOT sales management/SOC management.
  • Develop strong business relationships with SOT sales management and the Regional Franchisee sales force to meet delinquency control and loss objectives.
  • Answer field and customer questions concerning the credit program and account status.
  • Coordinate repossessions with SOT Field Management, Franchisees may also involve hiring bailiffs.
  • Work all skip accounts for resolution.
  • Ensure collection and repossession procedures adhere to corporate policy.
  • Properly administering Snap-on Credit’s extension policy.

Develop the credit business (approximately 30% of role)

  • Develop strong business relationships with regional sales management team and Franchisees.
  • Promote Credit Sales programs to the field at every opportunity.
  • Work closely with Business Development and Snap-on Tools sales management team on contests and promotions.
  • Attend Snap-on Tools franchise performance team meetings as needed.
  • Educate field sales personnel on credit program features and benefits.
  • Handle Franchise credit approval “appeals” as needed.
  • Answer field and customer questions concerning the credit program and account status.
  • Introduce, administer, and promote new programs, products, and procedures.
  • Maintain monthly contact with all assigned Franchisees.
  • Analyze the business portfolio to formulate and execute monthly action plans.
  • Provide Director Credit Operations with weekly forecasts.
