COLLECTOR I

Heritage Community Credit Union is seeking a Full Time (40 hours) Collector who is a highly motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic service individual to join The HCCU Crew. The Collector is responsible for contacting members with delinquent accounts, maintaining accurate records and assisting with various clerical duties. We are looking for someone who’s both detailed oriented and empathetic. The Collector position is based in the Sacramento area and is a hybrid (both on-site and remote work required) work arrangement.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR COLLECTOR:

  • 1 year of Collector experience in a similar role or related business field
  • Credit Union or Banking experience preferred
  • Repossession experience preferred
  • Education: A high school education or GED
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend specific directions
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Exceptional customer service skills in order to work with members via telephone, mail, and personal contact in a professional manner.
  • Very good attention to detail and strong organizational skills
