Job Description
The College & Career Instructor is responsible for developing and teaching a college and career curriculum for high school juniors, which will support students in exploring and preparing for their post-secondary plan that helps them achieve their career of highest aspiration. In addition to teaching juniors, the College & Career Instructor is also responsible for building relationships and working with fellow teachers, school’s leadership team, local partner organizations and college / universities to ensure our students engage in experiences that help them expand their knowledge, connect them to resources, and develop and strengthen the skills they need to successfully matriculate to and thrive in their post-secondary education and beyond. It is the ultimate goal of the KIPP Forward department, through guidance, exposure and education, to ensure that all graduates have the ability to maintain success in their academic, professional, and personal lives.
