SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• High School diploma required; bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education preferred
• Minimum of two years of work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people, or equivalent experience 
• Commitment to the mission, objectives, policies, programs, and procedures of the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena 
• Good verbal and written communication skills 
• Outstanding attention to detail, especially around project management
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club members, Club staff, Board members, volunteers, community partners and other groups 
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude with all members and staff 
• Ability to project a positive image of Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena, and interact professionally with members, parents, vendors, and others 
• Ability to exchange accurate information 
• Must maintain confidentiality at all times
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, lift and walk 75% of the time
• Must be able to drive and have a vehicle in good working order
• Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer
• Occasionally ascend/descend a ladder
• Occasionally moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

• Participate in special programs, events and other projects
• Drive Club van periodically to transport members
• Consult with parents concerning member issues, as neede
