Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Education, Public Administration, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in academic administration or a similar coordination role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant administrative systems/software.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.

  • Familiarity with policies and procedures related to academic operations and student services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact within the college for faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
  • Receive incoming visitors and phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support for the daily operations of the College of Security and Global Studies.
  • Assist faculty and staff with college policies, procedures, and administrative requirements.
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, agendas, meeting materials, and minutes.
  • Coordinate and support student-related processes, including admissions interviews, registration support, and academic inquiries.
  • Arrange facilities and provide logistical support for college events, seminars, workshops, conferences, and other indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Maintain and update student and faculty records while ensuring strict confidentiality of all college documentation.
  • Coordinate final grade submissions, incomplete exam documentation, and related academic administrative processes.
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments, ensuring timely communication with all participants.
  • Attend meetings, distribute agendas, record accurate minutes, and circulate meeting outcomes to attendees.
  • Manage shared folders, databases, and collaborative workspaces related to college operations.
