POSITION SUMMARY

Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position(s) available in the College Corps Program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of general office tasks.
  • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
  • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
Responsibilities

Supervised by the College Corps Program Director, the College Corps Student Assistant(s) support the College Corps staff Team and College Corps Fellows. College Corps student assistants will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day work of the College Corps office as well as support event planning and social media. Work will include outreach and follow-up with Fellows via email, phone calls, in-person meetings, and virtual meetings regarding upcoming events, timesheets, etc.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the College Corps staff with general student support such as phone calls, and one-on-one meetings for general check-ins with timesheets and student events attendance.
  • Support the College Corps staff with student events related to the program.
  • Assist in developing presentations for program recruitment.
  • Assist in providing general information or referrals as required by the Fellows and assist with one-on-one monthly meetings with the Fellows.
  • Support the College Corps staff with meetings, agendas, and scheduling.
  • Maintain, research, and create social media postings for the program.
  • Liaison to bridging collaboration with student programs, clubs, and organizations, as well as campus offices and services.
  • Other duties as assigned.
