Position Description: Under the supervision in the Employee Health & Safety Department, students will assist with completing required reports (e.g., district logs, monthly accident & injury reports); gather data; complete reports using personal computer & software (e.g., Microsoft Office); file safety forms in employee's accident & workers compensation files; assist with accident investigations (e.g., reviews accidents & injuries to determine root causes. They will help observe workers for use of prescribed safety apparel (e.g., safety glasses, hard hats, googles, vests, respirators) to ensure safe work & vehicle operation practices have been followed. May work in various counties (Delaware, Fayette, Franklin, Madison, Marion, Morrow, Pickaway, and Union) based on the location of the construction project assigned. Responsibilities
