About the Role: College Psychologist Employment Type: Contract for 2026 (Maternity Cover), with the possibility of ongoing employment FTE: Part time (0.2 – 0.6 FTE) Start Date: April 2026 South Coast Baptist College is seeking a compassionate and qualified College Psychologist to join our Student Services team. In this role, you will support the wellbeing of students from Kindergarten to Year 12 through evidence-based psychological services, contributing to a safe, supportive, and nurturing school environment. Selection Criteria: Relevant psychology qualifications and registration (minimum requirement) Experience supporting children, adolescents, and families Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based psychological interventions Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied caseload Commitment to supporting students within a Christian school context Sound professional judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality Essential Criteria: A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. Active participation in a church or Christian community, exemplifying Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices. Acceptance of the College’s Statement of Faith. Ability to build cooperative and supportive relationships with the Board, Principal, staff, students, and parents. Commitment to personal best practice. Ensure decisions are impartial, fact-based, and fair. Model appropriate and proper channels of communication. Consistently act in the best interests of the College and its ethos.
