ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a motivated, caring and compassionate person to deliver care and support to our learners with disabilities, Challenging behaviours and learning difficulties.
You will help learners to achieve their goals, pursue their interests and become more independent. This is a key role in which you will contribute to learners’ development in all areas of their college programme, ensuring an outstanding overall learning experience.
The role will involve:
· Supporting the teaching staff with the planning and delivery of teaching sessions
· Understanding and adhering to Individual Learning Plans and specific support needs
· Providing personal care to learners and assisting them with mobility and general independence skills
· The administration of medication in line with Linkage procedure
· Providing advice, guidance and feedback to learners on their programme
· Attending and contributing to Programme and Curriculum meetings
· Producing reports for Annual Learner Reviews as required
