Position Summary and Qualifications:
The Collegiate Recovery & Prevention Education Specialist plays a vital role in supporting Saint Joseph University’s commitment to student well-being, substance use prevention education, and recovery. This position is responsible for contributing to a recovery-supportive campus environment, developing and managing programs for students in recovery from substance use disorders, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the on-campus Recovery Residence and Collegiate Recovery Program. This position also supports substance use prevention education efforts campus wide.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Student Support & Well-being and working closely with other members of the SS&WB team, the Collegiate Recovery & Prevention Education Specialist will serve as a visible campus resource, offering guidance, advocacy, and direct support for students in recovery, and an active member of the Student Support & Wellbeing team.
