What We Need / What You’ll Do We are seeking a hands-on Data Quality Specialist o to ensure enterprise data is accurate, trusted, and fit for business-critical use. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders in financial services or regulated environments. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth data profiling and analysis to identify quality issues, anomalies, and risks. Evaluate existing Data Quality controls, identify gaps, and recommend improvements. Lead assessments across the six core data quality dimensions: accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, and uniqueness. Collaborate with business data owners, stewards, and engineers to align on definitions, use cases, and quality expectations. Facilitate sessions to review DQ findings and define rules, thresholds, and control points. Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues and recommend remediation plans. Guide the implementation of DQ rules, ensuring coverage across all dimensions and optimal enforcement points. Leverage Collibra Data Quality (or similar tools) for rule authoring, profiling, scoring, and issue management. Automate rule enforcement, monitor ongoing DQ health, and maintain feedback loops for remediation. Ensure DQ assets align with governance policies and enterprise metadata standards. Document assessments, rules, and decisions for audits, compliance reviews, and governance checkpoints. What You Need / Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Quality or similar tools. Strong background in financial services or other regulated industries. Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., BCBS 239, GDPR/CCPA). Knowledge of enterprise data architecture, metadata management, and governance practices. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders. Ability to analyze complex data, identify issues, and implement practical remediation strategies.
