Description We are seeking applicants to fill a Full-Time position from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday in the Collision Center Parts Department. The Collision Center Parts Counterperson is responsible for managing parts inventory, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service to technicians and customers. This role is crucial in ensuring that the necessary parts are available for timely vehicle repairs. An individual in this role will: Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring parts are stocked and organized. Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in ordering parts as needed. Assist technicians and customers in identifying the right parts for repairs. Provide information on parts availability, pricing, and delivery times. Process parts orders quickly and accurately, ensuring timely delivery. Handle returns and exchanges of parts in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to ensure a smooth workflow. Keep management informed of parts shortages or other issues affecting operations. Maintain detailed records of parts orders, sales, and inventory changes. Utilize inventory management software to track parts and streamline operations. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; automotive knowledge or training is preferred. Previous experience in a parts department or automotive environment is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficient in using computer systems and inventory management software.
