JOB SUMMARY

We are looking to add a Colour Match and QC Technician who embodies this spirit to our growing team.

QUALIFICATION

· Experience as a colour tinter (3+ year preferred)
· Experience with X-Rite or other colour match software / spectrophotometer (3+ years preferred)
· Experience in 2 component epoxy / polyurethane paint an asset
· Ability to work in a physically demanding position
· Team player with excellent communication skills
· A great attention to detail
· Strong analytical and math skills required
· Quick Learner
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Very reliable
· The ability to read, write and speak English

DESIRED EDUCATION

· High school diploma or higher

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

· Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred – chemical manufacturing experience a plus

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

• Bonus pay

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Brampton, ON L6P 0X4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

· Colour correction calculation (X-Rite system) and adjustments / additions
· Accurate documentation of all adjustments to batch cards
· Quality control support
· Ensuring product is manufactured on time for delivery in accordance with agreed schedule
· Reporting of non-conformance issues
· R&D support at required
· Other duties as assigned
