  • Experience in a similar technical role dealing with colours, preferably in the automotive sector
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office.
  • Practical experience of problem solving.
  • Able to drive continuous improvement with the curiosity to question & a willingness to learn.
  • Able to follow standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

Working for our Automotive Coatings operation, you will manage Colour Laboratory and production procedures, ensuring that production batches and samples of our high performance automotive coatings comply with customer requirements and meet quality standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow standard operating procedures & work safely.
  • Approve quality & colour matching of coatings from production batches to samples.
  • Ensure objectives are met in terms of lead-time, service & cost.
  • Use colour tools (e.g. spectrophotometer / Bykmac / X-rite & interpret data.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on colour adjustments, to achieve the proper product resistivity/viscosity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in evaluating samples of new/existing products.
  • Update & maintain systems & provide stakeholder reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance.
