BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval. What You’ll Be Doing: Designs and builds custom reports sourcing data from various systems. Serves as BWC liaison with other state agencies to resolve any issues with billings or payments across multiple systems. Research billing inquiries and works with BWC’s Legal, Claims, and Self-Insured Departments to determine appropriateness of billings. Monitors Other States Coverage activity and works with BWC’s Other States Coverage Department to ensure accuracy of data in systems and reporting. Assists in updating and recommending changes in department policies and procedures. 42 mos. exp. or 42 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software. -Or completion of graduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software. -Or 12 mos. exp. as Financial Analyst, 66562. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
