Oversees the operations of two or more combined facilities (retail/food or retail/services) including financial and inventory management, sales and/or service promotion, and personnel management and training responsibilities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Four years of retail, food and/or services management/supervisory experience.
Or
Bachelor’s degree and two years of retail, food and/or services management/supervisory experience.
The hiring supervisor may accept successful completion of one of the following training programs as a substitute for one year of experience:
Retail/Food: National Brand Fast Food (NBFF) training, the Exchange Restaurant Operations Management Academy (ROMA), Exchange Retail Management Training (RMT), OR Retail Management Academy (RMA) training programs.
Retail/Services: Exchange Retail Management Training (RMT) OR Retail Management Academy (RMA) training programs.
Must complete ServSafe (LEX 112F) within 30 days of assuming position (Retail/Food only).
Fuel Management Compliance (LEX 175S) completion within 3 months of assuming position.
Retail/Services position requires SBM curriculum completion in LEX within 6 months of assuming position.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Supervises staff to ensure proper operation of facilities and customer satisfaction; assures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines relating to facility operations and safety, i.e., Food Safety, OSHA, EPA/environmental.
Establishes goals to maximize sales and productivity and to minimize inventory costs. Complies with pricing policies on merchandise according to established operating policies and procedures.
Responsible for financial aspects of the combined operation, i.e. retail and food or retail and services. As applicable, may explore opportunities and develops plans to increase service offerings. May handle contract development and/or negotiation in accordance with Exchange objectives and policies; acts as contracting officer’s representative for administration and oversight of Exchange agreements.
Develops and mentors staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
