Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Design and maintain a terrestrial electrical distribution system used to power the LBTS combat systems.
  • Generate and manage a parts list to facilitate procurement activities.
  • Deliver a design that is compliant with Australian Standards and adheres to the workplace safety policies.
  • Oversee the installation of the electrical system by approved contractors.
  • Design an earthing system for combat system equipment.
  • Generate all documentation to permit installation by contractors.
  • Provide technical oversight in the development of a lightning protection system.
  • Provide assessments of vendor solutions, specifications and data related to LBTS systems.
  • Interact with specialty engineering teams to ensure compliance of LBTS systems.
  • Review and maintain the LBTS equipment layout design.
  • Responsible for the full-engineering life cycle of allocated tasks.
