Security Clearance: Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance. Position/Job Description: General Tasking Description: US. Navy Subject Matter Expert (SME) instructor with emphasis on Combat Systems Training Team, Integrated Team and TAO. Develop, organize, and conduct training and educational programs for sailors assigned to Multi-Mission Combat Ship. Provide in-depth instruction on system capabilities and limitations, employment of automated systems, mission planning and execution, and communications. Work with assigned MTF Department/Team to train foreign military students to become practitioners in work center functions and WQSB responsibilities ranging from OJT to high-performance skills associates with cross-training and team performance required to support independent ship operations in a minimally manned highly automated ship using mentoring and team building skills Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or 21 years’ experience in Combat Systems specialty as a substitute. Experience Requirements: 20 years’ experience with USN ships and as a warfare specialist and/or trainer. 10 years’ experience as a USN Combat Systems or TAO Instructor. 10 years’ experience using LCS Combat Systems principle to drive T2Q and T2C in a shipboard environment or virtual trainer. 10 years’ experience developing, organizing, and conducting Combat Systems training and educational programs for CIC watch standers assigned to LCS/DDG/LHA. 15 years’ experience using conventional knowledge-based classroom teaching and performance-based laboratory training. 10 years’ experience developing course curriculum and course material supporting military students. 10 years’ experience leading a team to produce training and education material supporting naval training. 10 years’ experience establishing and reviewing LCS/DDG course content and objectives. 10 years’ experience as Leading Chief/Combat Systems Training Team Leader. 5 years’ experience with graphic creation, editing, and publishing software. 4 years’ experience working with international students.
