Benefits: Competitive salary Flexible schedule Training & development Immediate open position for elderly man in Bolton CT (wife lives at the home but cannot care for him) He is in need for day time and night time OR a live-in caregiver 7 days a week. Shifts: 9am to 5pm and 9pm to 5am OR a live-in caregiver Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and care to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities, seniors, or those requiring assistance in a nursing home or home health setting. Your commitment to patient care and your ability to create a supportive environment will make a significant difference in their daily lives. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support clients with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Assist with mobility and lifting clients safely to prevent injury. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to healthcare professionals. Foster positive relationships with clients, promoting social interaction and engagement. Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Experience Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous. Background in nursing homes or home health settings is beneficial. Skills in social work or related fields can enhance your effectiveness as a caregiver. A willingness to learn and adapt to the unique needs of each client is essential.
