The Opportunity:

We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Command and Control (C2) Network Administrator, Journeyman. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partner G33 MCSD located in Grafenwoehr, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS. This position is located OCONUS.
Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possesses and applies expertise in supporting, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading EMITS 2’s networks and servers
  • Participates in installations and integrations of new server hardware and applications, including support for intelligence Programs of Record (PORs)
  • Maintains baseline of infrastructure requirements and communicates on a routine basis with vendors on projected systems improvements
  • Supports network performance continuity for fail over or disaster recovery events, resolves problems reported by users, and supports network policies and procedures
  • Knowledgeable on network administration functions on MP-applicable C2 systems infrastructure (e.g., GCCS-J, DCGS-A, JADOCS)
  • Configures and troubleshoots network infrastructure required for C2 Systems, Common Operating Pictures (COPs), Common Intelligence Pictures (CIPs), and emerging/modernized systems or PORs
  • Supports and administers third-party applications
  • Ensures adherence to USAREUR-AF cybersecurity practices and directives
  • Monitors network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test/evaluates for weaknesses
  • Directs and executes user accounts, permissions, and passwords to support requirements
  • Participates in designing system requirements and solutions and provides research and recommendations on network systems and server system administration
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Experience 4-7 years with a BA/BS in related field preferred or equivalent experience considered.
  • Possess a Secret clearance with the ability to retain.
  • Certification – 8140 CND or Network+
  • Possesses extensive knowledge of network administration, server management, and cybersecurity practices, preferably in military command and control systems.
  • Demonstrates expertise in configuring and maintaining complex network infrastructures, preferably GCCS-J, DCGS-A, and JADOCS.
  • Exhibits proficiency in troubleshooting network issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring system performance and security.
  • Showcases ability to work independently on complex assignments and contribute to system design and improvement. Displays strong communication skills for vendor interactions and team collaboration.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity directives and network technologies relevant to military operations.
  • Possesses extensive knowledge of voice communications systems, including VoIP and VoSIP technologies.
