We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and work on the trading floor. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python or C# and Javascript (React or Angular) and be passionate about developing new features for their trading platforms. Role and responsibilities Review and analyze business and technical requirements Design, build, and support front-office web applications (frontend & backend) using a modern stack Deliver scalable solutions that meet user needs and deadlines Troubleshoot issues, provide efficient fixes, and document solutions Own application streams with a high level of autonomy Participate in testing to ensure application quality and stability Proactively suggest improvements to processes and tooling Lead the modernization of Excel-based tools while supporting existing workflows during transition #LI-ASD Qualifications 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming C# or Python 2+ years working with React or a similar modern frontend framework Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Curious, adaptable, and comfortable learning new domains Able to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments Basic finance knowledge or willingness to learn (Repo, Collateral, Triparty) Exposure to trading floor environments is a plus Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, DDD, or VBA is a plus Environment: Global bank collaboration (architect in Paris, local ambassador) Access to GitHub Copilot and Claude 4.5 Sonnet internal GPT agent CI/CD pipelines with emphasis on code coverage and continuous delivery Pycharm, Visual Studio Code,Kubernetes,Docker,Gitlab Company’s Benefits At Talan, we invest in our employees' well-being and empower them with benefits, including: 💵 The salary range for this role is US$95,000 - US$135,000 💸401(k) retirement plan with company matching 🌴15 days of paid vacation per year at hire and up to 27 according to seniority (annual untaken vacation days are cashed out) 📴8 paid holidays + 5 sick days + 2 personal days per year ❤️‍🩹Company health, dental, and vision insurance plans + FSA 🦺Voluntary STD and LTD 🚍 Commuter/transit benefits All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
