KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 3+ years mutual funds wholesaling experience preferred
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 required
  • FINRA Series 7 preferred

This compensation range is for the Commerce Mutual Funds Wholesaler job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $65,000 to $125,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic alliances with third party broker/dealers, administrators, correspondent banks, as well as their home offices and other potential delivery channels to increase the exposure of Commerce Funds
  • Provide sales support for Commerce Investment Advisors, Commerce Trust Company (CTC), and Commerce Funds
  • Research new opportunities for distribution of the Commerce Funds
  • Provide wholesaling support to third party distribution channels
  • Assist in new product development
  • Manage customer service requests from existing relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
  • Perform other duties as assigned
