EXO Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most successful insurance brokerages.
Our client is currently looking to employ an ambitious Commercial Insurance Broker/Commercial Account Executive who will have extensive experience in managing their own book of commercial insurance clients. This could be a speciality/niche class of insurance book or a generic book of commercial clients.
The successful candidate will already have their own book of commercial insurance clients (a significant proportion of which are likely to follow after any covenant has expired). You will be given all the tools and strong access to markets to enable you to bring your clients over successfully.
Experience:
THIS IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A COMPANY IN A SERIOUS PHASE OF GROWTH AND ONE THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO MAKE THE ROLE YOUR OWN.
You will will be expected to meet with clients face to face at the renewal and new business stage, and you will be expected to be involved in new business development e.g. attending trade shows, networking etc.
Salary: £60k to £100k + (dependant on experience and transferable book size) plus highly competitive bonus and extensive benefits including car allowance
You will ideally have over 4 years plus of experience within a commercial insurance brokerage working with a wide-variety of commercial insurance risks. You will also have previous experience of overseeing a good sized book of commercial insurance clients.
About the Insurance Broker/Commercial Account Exec role: You’ll be overseeing and growing a book of commercial insurance clients across a range of industry sectors.
You will be a point of referral to more junior members of the team and you will use your expertise and experience to help with queries and occasional training/mentoring.
You will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads.
