Salary: £40,000 – £55,000
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
We’re partnering with a well-established independent Chartered Insurance Broker based in Ipswich who are looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious commercial insurance professional to manage and develop an existing client portfolio while building new business in the Suffolk area.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

You’ll be taking ownership of an existing client book, working alongside internal Client Executives to deliver exceptional service. On top of managing and growing your portfolio, you’ll also be actively seeking out new business opportunities, conducting client meetings, and delivering considered risk advice. You’ll become a trusted advisor to your clients and a visible presence in the local business community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage and develop an existing portfolio of commercial clients
· Conduct face-to-face meetings to understand client businesses, risk appetite, and insurance needs
· Identify gaps in cover and spot cross-sell/upselling opportunities
· Provide comprehensive meeting notes and risk information to support Client Executives in negotiations
· Deliver risk presentations that address client exposures and requirements
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, insurers, and colleagues
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold service quality standards
· Be an active and respected presence in relevant local networking organisations
