ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Commercial Account Handler, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the insurance needs of an existing client base—predominantly local businesses who value strong relationships and dependable advice. This is an internal, office-based position offering stability, professional growth, and the chance to work with a dedicated and knowledgeable team.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Act as a trusted advisor, assessing and advising clients on tailored insurance solutions
• Retain and nurture existing client relationships through exceptional service and communication
• Negotiate with insurers to secure the best terms and coverage
• Process new business, renewals, amendments, and mid-term adjustments
• Manage invoicing, payments, and claims support
• Provide up-to-date advice on insurance products and industry developments
• Ensure compliance with FCA rules and internal procedures
